I'd like to present you some real armour I've been working on, and wish to extend the invitation to others who are depicting real armour or other military vehicles too.

Kicking off with Magyar Steel

[ img ]
The Landsverk L-60 is my all time favourite looking tank of all time and the Toldi is a stellar part of this.
This drawing represents the 2nd service version refitted with a 40mm gun. It shows the late war Hungarian cross and the Armour Corps insignia on the turret on an overall green scheme.

[ img ]
The mainstay of the Hungarian armoured forces, the Turán family was developed from the Czech Škoda Š-IIc, later known as the T-21. This Turán I sports a carefully applied winter camouflage, the late war cross and the Armour Corps insignia.

[ img ]
This tank is in reality a refitted Turán I with a Turán II turret, lacks markings beyond the registration only seen from the front and back, and the late war cross.

[ img ]
Based on the Turán chassis, the Zrínyi II is an assault gun armed with a 105mm howitzer. The vehicle depicted here lacks the three tone camouflage and side skirts commonly seen on them.

[ img ]
Twenty two Pz.Kpfw. IV F1 were in service with the Hungarian army during the Great Patriotic War. This example sports the early war cross and tactical number on the turret bustle.

[ img ]
Not a real tank per se, the sole prototype was destroyed in a bombing raid in 1944, the tank existed but this image shows a speculative in-service version as no photographs of the prototype have survived.

That's it for now, hope you like them, I sure enjoyed drawing them, I find the scale comfortable and the drawings to take less effort and time than a destroyer-sized ship in SB, so I hope to show you many more vehicles.

Once more I'd like to invite anyone doing real military vehicles in this scale to post them here.

Awesome drawings Charguizard!

And here's a few drawings of my own, lacking any theme unfortunately. Furthermore, the camouflage while inspired by real tanks, may or may not represent any tanks in real life. And if there's any errors regarding detailings and especially dimensions, please do tell me!

First is the Crusader Tank, a British cruiser tank.

[ img ]

Then the Cromwell Tank, another British cruiser tank. No Centaurs tank as of yet however!

[ img ]

The M1A1 Abrams Tank, the famous US tank and lacking any famous camouflage, just a generic desert yellow.

[ img ]

The Leclerc XXI Tank, this own representing but not a one to one representation of a tank shown in a parade.

[ img ]

Finally, the Leopard Tanks, 2A4, 2A5 and 2A6 variants.

If you see any error, please tell me!

Thank You!

Wow! fantastic level of detail (I am astonished by the rivets in particular!). I think that the scale is perfect for tanks. One little doubts (for my next proyect in this scale !!!) the gun of the tanks must be always "pointing to the left"? The presence of a "floor line" is compulsory or just a choice? Once again, very but very well done! Cheers!

I would think that the floor line is only a choice as is with the "pointing to the left part" but obviously Charguizard is the only one that can really answer it. For myself, I only have my drawing to the left while not really having a floor line. Could be wrong however!

Also, just a small detail update to the F-16C. More rivets and the like as well as updated panellings.
