Those are nice, but I think 16px/inch makes more sense as a scale than gunbucket's 20px/inch.

Because with 16px/inch you can evenly divide up 1 inch.

You cannot do this with 20px/inch.

well we normal people over here work with centimeters and meter. inches is something that belong to the past for those old people... And don't start me on miles, counting speed in miles.... I do it Millimeter per seconds! :?

Also, the metric system is more versetile, where conversion between units of same measure (cm>m for example) is easy. Since Shipbucket is an international community and most countries have adopted metric system, I think it is preferred to use it.

Well, to be honest, the argument about the advantage of metric system over imperial (even though I personally prefer metric system) on Shipbucket is somewhat academic since the Shipbucket scale is based on imperial scale after all (1 pixel = 6 inches or 1/2 foot - meaning 0,1524 metre in metric scale). ;)

On the other hand, personally I find it easier to divide by 20 than by 16. ;)

(And since there already is a "Swordbucket" that uses the Gunbucket scale of 20pix/inch. then IMHO there's no point in increasing number of "official" SB scales. ;) )

nothing in this section of drawings are "offical", hence the name NON-shipbucket drawings. carry on, and nice blade there ;)
