Work in progress of the Aigaion Heavy Command Cruiser from Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. I have and will be working on this drawing with permission from ace. I hope I have been doing her justice. :)

Also a little note, I should have taken it out for the posted WIP image, but under the circumstances, the small drawing is credited to dragonheart-r1 on Imageshack.

I've only spent a few hours on it.

Also to anyone, how do you replace files and change the image size in Photobucket, I'm kind of inexperienced with the website?

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? I mean, does it float? It looks more like something that should fly, in which case it may be in the wrong section, please enlighten us :)

airborne aircraft carrier flying boat, PB :D ;) so this thing looks to be made to stirr up the rules...... it is in sb scale, so IMO it is right (it's not more in the wrong section then my space battleship yamato WIP :P)
looking nice already, apart from 2 things:
- the missile hatches I had were more correct then these. look at the screenshots and you will see that all lines from hatch to hatch have the same angle with the centerline, not the random shape you have. I spend a lot of time on those, IMO they are correct
- the second point is the colour. while my grey might be a tad light, it is a lot lighter then what you have now, while the flight deck colour should at least be darker then the hull colour.

Its certainly not in SB scale, and with a lot of antialiasing; so on balance it needs to be in non shipbucket drawings.

Moved

PB: it is in shipbucket scale, but it is rescaled by photobucket because it is so huge. to show it: the WIP from me he works from: http://www.deviantart.com/download/2046 ... 3dtxlh.png
if it is because it is an flying thingie and not really an ship, you are right of course, but it is in sb scale :P

The first time I played the mission this appears in my literal reaction, was W.T.F!? Nice work so far.

Good thing turbulence isn't modelled in Ace Combat.
