Hi, I'm new in here and I'm glad ( seriously ) that I've found a forum that knows about warships a lot of made tonnes of designs which it was really helpful for my war comic! So, I'm trying to make one of my battleship in shipbucket's template..

Allow me to introduce myself. Syndicate Zero is my new nickname, a rookie weapon skinner, mapper and spriter of a game named CS2D. Here's the link to my profile.
I love making guns or any war stuff when I have free times because it releases my stress and calms me down a little. I've found your website when I was searching for " Iowa Battleship" and tadaa! Here it is!
I would be appreciated if you guys slowly guide to make the perfect design/drawing/warship so that my war knowledge can be increased for my future episodes of war comic! ( which it still in episode 1: Total Invasion )

How big are those guns?

I dont know much about naval guns but they're supposed to be 18" inch.. Is there something wrong with the guns?

Since shipbucket gun barrels are overstated that is more like a 16''.

So how can I make 'em looks like 18" guns? Bigger or longer tubes?

Keep them the same as one pixel in 6''.
In other words just say they are 18''.

Anyway, welcome aboard SZ.
A good start would be to dive into the archives and and find some real battleships to compare to.
Start out with the hull and work your way up. It's up to you whether you'll include the underwater hull, but to start with I'd leave it out. You can always come back and ad it later.
