Again, excellent Alex. IMHO these were 'proper' land speed record cars, with an 'automotive' engine and drive (though a bit fast for the Tesco shopping). Nowadays its the custom to design a flightless jet fighter and because it never actually leaves the ground its allowed. Still, very brave chaps who pilot these things :)

*LOL* I actually know what PB meant with the 'Tesco shopping', having lived in Britain for close to six months...I used to go grocery shopping there...Cadbury's chocolate among others.... 8-) ;) :lol:
