While no stranger to Shipbucket drawings, this is my first post here:

I like what the Canadian Navy did with its Tribal Update and Modernization Program (TRUMP) during the late 80's and early 90's. The installation of Standard SAMs was a great improvement for their area defense cababilities.

However, I have always felt an over-the-horizon anti ship capability would have been nice also. Of course there is always the problem of room. I'm wondering if the Harpoon SSM system could have been installed along with the Standard SAM system? Maybe in a remodelled forward superstructure with two outer rows of launch tubes for SAMs and an inner row for SSMs?

The retention of the 5 inch gun, the 'playboy bunny' funnels and the ship's boats is mainly for aesthetic reasons.

I'm not too familiar with this class of ship but what about at the stern like the Ticonderoga Class?

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It's especially good to see an ol' friend, Portsmouth Bill, is still active.

Cheers Monty, and an honour to have you aboard. And glad to see you remember the 'Coffee War' times. I never heard again from Bronquites, but no doubt he's alive and well and still in Portugal :D

Ah buddy, those were great times for sure. I fondly remember this little beauty and the wonderful discussion we had while making her more suitable for your AUS fleet.
