This my comic version of P-51D Mustang in colour of USAAF 99th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group in 1945. 332nd Fighter Group is better know as Tuskegee Airmen, the Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American military aviators in the United States armed forces. PS. Boys, I will be off line for several days due to moving to our new house. |

Nobody flew P-51Bs/Cs by 1945 aside from squadron hacks and trainers In fact by 1945 the 332nd started to receive better priority for equipment, IIRC (pretty much true for the USAAF as a whole) |

Actually P-51As/Bs/Cs were used until the end of the war by many many combat units, although yes, most front line units received the Ds. |

If it's not G.I. Joe it's got to be MASC. Sometimes after a while all these 80s action cartoons really start to blend together. |
