-Front: 40 mm sloped at 58 degree angle (EaT ~ 80 mm) on MkI and II, with large modernisation potential it has been increased to 65 mm at a same angle on markIII and later on giving EaT ~112 mm. -Sides and back 35 mm, increased to 50 mm on MkIV. -Roof 15 mm for hull Turret Armor: 64 mm front and 50 mm sides from MkI to III, gun mantled is same as a frontal plate but changed to 76 mm on MkIIIb, roof 25 mm Turret on MarkIV at the front is 90 mm while the sides remain to be 50, while roof increased to 30 mm. [unrelated to armor but MkIV features an early/proto-hunter-killer capability] Armament: MkI 40 mm (2 pounder), MkII 57 mm (6 pounder) cwt, MkIIIa, MkIIIb - 57 mm long barrel gun, MkIV - Type-43 76 mm gun (basically a 77 mm HV gun but coming bit earlier and with slightly different breech),Engine: MkI-III: Werkspoor P40 V12 Gasoline engine 500 hp, MkIV: Rolls-Royce Meteor V12 petrol 600 hp. Transmition: Merritt-Brown Z.5 gearbox Speed: MkI-III: 65 km/h, MkIV-V: 55 km/h weight: MkI-II: 23.5 tons, MkIIIa: 24.7 tons, MkIIIb: 22.2 tons, MkIV-V: 29.5 tons Operational range: 240-300 km on road, cross country 90-100 km, depends on a variant (P.S I realised I did a little f*ck up and posted it in a real armor thread) |
