Simple and cheap export version of the destroyers with non-armored hull. Completed 8 units.
For the Peruvian Navy:
Ordered after the Leticia Incident (1932-33) as an answer to the Colombian order of 4 G-class destroyers in the Great Britain. Patricipated the Ecuadorian–Peruvian War (1941).

For the Argentina navy:
As a part of the navy moderization, Argentina ordered 8 destroyers in Europe: 4 of H-class in the Great Britain and 4 of Jag.34-class in the Scandinavia. After 1972 were used as escort ships. Patricipated the beginning of the Faulkland war.
