Beautifull airplanes Psilander, but on the Sea fury you have the numbers in a mirror-image.

This gets better: The Sea Fury in Swedish livery looks most attractive. I know you used later Spitfires in real life, but I'm supposing the Sea Fury was not surplus until the need for piston engined fighters was no longer necessary.

Nice Sea Fury, well IMHO its the most beautiful radial-engined fighter ever and one of Sidney Camm's finest works of art.

In my AU Sweden lend-leased Hellcat fighters between late 1943 and 1945. Lacking a modern fighter to their carriers after the war they decieded to go for latest instead of surplus F4U Corsairs. The fighter of choice for the navy was the DH Vampire but they couldn¨t finish a carrier version in time so Furies where bought instead. It was a good choice serving well into the 50s being finally replaced by the Venoms in 1955.

Regarding the Swedish Spitfires they where only of the Spitfire PR mk. XIX used for photo reconnaissance over soviet occipied germany and baltic states an all the way to Murmansk. They made several very daring missions in over Soviet territory, runnig away from MIG-15s etc. Fighters of time in IRL RSWAF was J28 vampaire, J26 P51D Mustangs and later the SAAB J29 Tunnan. They where the fastest pistonengined aircraft in RSWAF ever and used until 1955

If you are going for Lend Lease then Sweden would need to be a member of the Allies, and that is not my understanding of this AU. Re the Vampire; yes, it was flight tested on carriers but just didn't have the power for safe operations (a common problem with early jets); but yes, the Sea Fury would fit well for the period you are using. If IIRC, the Spitfires were supplied after some initial reluctance, due to the perception that Sweden had not been a 'friendly neutral' during WWII; though, by the 1950's Swedens 'neutrality' was favoured by NATO.
