thanks, it was my idea to use the opv as base indeed.... :D
the sb drawing of the ship is in the wingedheroes thread, if you want to know how it is going to look when finished.

Looking good Ace, send this to the Koninklijke Marine and tell em to build all further OPV's like this. :D

regarding my FFX, I'll remove the railgun and reserve it of the larger ships in this design study (destroyer, cruiser) and make it a gasturbine/electrical drive.
