Propulsion: 4 diesels x 300 shp = 1200 shp, 2 electric motor x 330 shp = 660 shp, speed 12.7/7.2 kts, range: 82 mi/4 kts (submerged), 2500 mi/8 kts (surfaced).
Armament: 2 x 456 mm torpedo-tube (+ 2 spare torpedoes), 1x1 75/50, 2 machine-gun, 60 contact mines.
