thank you all for the comments. I really appreciate it, and I'm sorry I took so long replying. I use pretty much MSpaint for all of it except if I need to rotate something, and I will use paint.net for that. It would be really hard for me to explain in writing how I do this, but its not really hard. It involves some copy and paste, some free hand drawing and a lot of blending. As for as the amount of time it takes, my first drawing took well over a year before I felt comfortable showing it to anybody. I can get them out a lot faster now.
