Thanks. The drawing and its "lore" are a combination of several items that I am most-fascinated with: the F-16/79, non-US F-16 upgrade programmes, the two-tone grey camouflage used by the F-104G/Js (which is derived from the one used by the F-5Es) in the late stage of their ROCAF service, and the tale of USAF A-10 pilots using the IIR-guided AGM-65 missiles as a poor men's FLIR. "Reskinning" Darth Panda's single-seat Vought Model 1600 drawing under the influence of remembering playing Air Combat (Arcade), I am largely trying to emulate the style of the F-16 in Ace Combat 2, with some of the markings using AC6's Type "Ace 2" skin as a reference of sort...... |
