hello, i have question about redrawing this ship (note it is never-built design)
[ img ]
second ship from above, which purposed to Thailand, seems a bit wrong.
According to this article, in "สมรภูมิ" (Combat Zones) magazine.
[ img ]
[ img ]
- ship displacement is 7,800tons...same as HC800PT, but ship's island looks like HC600PT which is 6000tons

[ img ]
- main gun is 127mm, maybe from OTO Melara (5"/54 Compact :?: ) or FMC (5"/54 Mk.45 mod2 :?: )
- two STIR
- no 40mm DARDO, 4 twin 30mm from OTO Melara (Sea Cobra?)
- she can carry 12 SH-3 size helicopter, so maybe i have to modify ship hull? hangar seems to be larger.
- they were going to put ski-jump on her, this article said they ask specialist from British company to be an advisor...maybe it wll be like Invincible's ski-jump :?:

I think I'm going to redraw this ship...but I have problem about enlarging.
There is no information about the dimension of ship (but if it 7,800tons, can i use HC800PT's size?), and i have a problem to estimate the shape and dimension of island, i tried, but it looks weird so i deleted it.

can anyone give me an instruction to enlarge the ship from original picture?

Real humdinger this, hmm, any other pictures of the proposed design? As currently it looks like a large HC600Pt with an Illuminator over the aft bridge instead of a 40mm, hence I'd suggest try scaling it up from 127m to 151m (119% increase of length)

could you include the reference image you are working off? that way I can see what it is you are drawing :P there are quite a few versions of this ship so it is kind of hard to help otherwise.

it doesn't look too bad to me though.

She looks better that original, which had too low freeboard.

no, I meant your reference image, so your source for what the design should be.
