Post subject:  Real Design, Canada - ASL-20 HMCS Cormorant
WIP - base colours only, concentrating on main structures. No details such as railings, liferafts, kisbie rings, radar, electronics, etc. as yet. Cormorant was a dive tender for the SDL-1 and Pisces IV submersibles, until she was decommissioned in 1997. I'll be including both submersibles on the sheet in the same manner helos or other borne craft would be depicted.

Never knew this ship existed but I tell you this, I love it! Please finish this drawing, if you want I'll do the COA for it even! Lovely ship!

Thanks very much, Rodondo; I'll definitely be progressing work on her. I do have the ship's badge, but may well need help putting it in the proper Shipbucket format.

Thank you both; there's a couple there I didn't find. I also found some excellent high-res ones on the World of Warships forum; you can't access them unless you join, though, and it seems they have a robots blocker to prevent Google from indexing them. Good-size pix, too - 3000x2000 px and up.

Your profile says you're in the RCN if you are on the east coast and not too far from Bridgewater, NS but she has been alongside there for some time. You can get fairly close, or there is a park across the river which would allow you to get some good side view pictures. She's in pretty rough shape but mostly intact.

I would if I was in Slackers, Giant Killer, but I'm a sandy-bottom sailor :)
