Post subject:  Drawing scale and format questions

What is the appropriate scale to create images with, in order to conform with this forum's drawing standards?

I create most of my own, 2-D personal images with the simple but reliable MS Paint; my preference for this is 8 pixels = 12 inches. A 100-foot-long vessel would be 800 pixels in "width" as it appears on my monitor.

I have looked around for guidance on this forum as to the standards used here, but being a brand-new member, I could use some advice -- not only on scale standards, but on what is defined as "Shipbucket style". Most of what I create is in "schematic" style, but is this inappropriate?

Before I get into trouble, I thought it best to ask! :)

Thanks!
