Hi everybody,

this is my first try so please be kind ;-).

This shuld be a kind of 2018 Battlecruiser for an AU I'm working on. I post this first, becaus it is the one which is almost drawn by my own so I think i dont have to ask somebody for permission to use some of their desings.
I hope this one is ok.

Well, the only thing I can really say is regarding the 57 mm/70 SAK Mk.3(the gun between the forward VLS ). It looks like you're using an obsolete version. Here's the correct one(I take it you want the stealth one):

For being a first drawing it seems to be fairly good. Props for posting your first ship in the beginner forums. Welcome aboard on the 'bucket.

There are some "wierd" lines on the bow and the wave breaker.

Thanks KHT,

I used the this version of the 57mm gun because the Bofors 57mm stelth seems to big to me in comparsion of the Bofors 57mm Mk3/Mk110. and I hate the short barrel.

To be honest it is not actualy my first ship I have done some others already but after drawing this one I think they are not finish yet. And I whould like to aks the owners of the original Versions of my drawings for permission before posting them. But i have to do some postings in the Forum before PMs are alowed to me ;-).

And even this one is not actualy finish yet. The Bismarck Claas is lacking comms capacity it needs more antennas ;-), The wierd lines should be redrawn and I'm shure you Guys will find other things ;-)

Welcome aboard. As for the ship, the forward CIWS is redundant (in face of the 57mm mount) so I'd remove it. You've got old versions of the SM-2MR and SM-2ER on there, and old Harpoon launchers, all of which can be found on the USN parts sheet.

All in all, not a bad start.

The reason for the gun is looking short is because almost the entire gun inside the housing. Basically what the Bofors did to the Mk3 Stealth gun was to build an stealth mounting over the main chassi of the Mk3 gun

The same gun different housing!

we like to take one thing at the time but I can kick of with the basic:

Radar:
- Why 8 APAR's faces. (The old one above, the more new one bellow)
for APAR and Smart+l that looks like you want, you can find on this Dutch Part-sheet:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... =23&t=1307

Engine:
- What type of powerplant. Diesel, diesel-electric, gasturbine, etc.
1. have you big enough funnel or should you have two funnel, all depending on engine.
2. how much air do the engine need? is also an another question. some other person m answer that for you.
- Generators, how much funnel space are the generators going to need, and where are they placed

Lifer-rafts:
on the looks of it you have 8 life-rafts. And if I am not wrong they are the 50 man size 50-8=400 man. ow big crew do you have. (There is always an XX% more life raft space than there is crew on the ship)

Hellicopter:
At the moment you are using the old drawing of the NH90 Hellicopter.
(Note ther is some hellicopters on this drawing that are at wrong scale, but people would inform you about that when the time come!)
http://www.majhost.com/gallery/jabba/Sh ... _med_h.png

Parts-sheet that is smart to download, these part-sheet is those most updated parts in "SB":

The Royal Navy:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... ?f=23&t=65

The US Navy:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... ?f=23&t=20

The Japanes:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... =16&t=1837

smart to have an look around in this two folders:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... ?f=23&t=69
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... f=23&t=491

Fonts (If you have problem with you'r fonts from time to time:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... f=23&t=700

Torpedoes:

all this can be found her (Official Parts Sheet Threads (A sub topic in the part sheet folder)):
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=23

The Forum main part sheet folder:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=16

here you can find things like:

Bellow deck parts:

Planebucket (SB scale):

The funnel(s) would have to be split to the sides, as it is now, the smoke will interfere with the radar, look at the De Ruyter as it has an excellent way of doing away with this problem. You could also do more to make the helipad blend more into the hull, as it is now it is not good for stealth. The position of the aft VLS will not be good for combat ops as it will block for the helicopters taking-off or landing.

This is what I`d do:

You can keep the changes if you want, no crediting needed.

First welcome to Shipbucket. And now for the drawing itself.
Firstly I find the two sonar domes redundant. Only one is enough. The ship's bows is more like the one in merchant ships than a warship.
The ship's rudder looks a bit small compared to the hull and props.
Aft gun is in questionable position, considering the below deck space it needs and propellers shafts running alongside, more knowledgeable members will know better (I'm the, mostly, merchant ships artist , especially old ones, so I'm not that versed in modern weaponry).
drawing
You have some uncompleted lines, like on the hangar control cabin.

Thanks for the very construgtive critics. especially to you Karle94. Your Changes realy look better an I took them.
For the 8 APAR faces, if you look closer, or just know what I thought or did, you would see that the ones below isnt APAR but SEAPAR, which I took to add Fire Control Chanels for the inner Range. So the ESSM or in my newest Version the TMS 11 are guided by the SEAPAR, leaving the APAR Chanels for the Extended Range Missiles and the ABMs.

For the Engines I thought it would have CODAG. I talked about that with an deputy Engeneer of a Sachsen Claas Frigate. And he said the Funnels of the Sachsen Claas could take much more engines than the F 124 has. For the cost of IR-Signature. And I have seen IR-Pictures of a F124 Frigate on high speed an have to say there are nothing to make worse, even if they use their NBC-sprinkler-system. They look like a real Badass, burning cylon goastship right from the hell.

Novice, the bow I would guess is based on the F125 and Braunschweig classes, which have long bulbous bows.
