Shipbucket

The Eppleton Hall was built in 1914 as part of a rather large fleet of Tyne Built paddle wheel tugs. Today it is one of two survivors* and resides at the San Francisco Maritime Museum's Hyde Street Pier where it was restored to it's post 1946 appearance.

* Nit Pickers may claim 3 of these tugs exist. Eppie, John Amos, and Reliant. As I recall, Reliant's a partial survivor, a tad chopped up for museum display.

Years ago in the late 1980's I had the opportunity to help out with the restoration and ongoing maintenance on the Eppie so I've a soft spot for her.

Looking quite good, but I those two yellowish lines are redundant (it is where the name was written). None the less I quite like it, and just add some shading and you're good.

At a glance it looks a nice work.

a basic hint: save the drawing as .png because the jpeg are modifying the color of the pixels.

Moreover I would review the paddle because there are too many black double-lines: probably it could be possible to use black lines and very dark grey ones...

Very nice, though regarding the paddle wheel I'd suggest (and I think that Lazer_one might have had the same on his mind) to make it not 1-pixel thick, but 3-pixel thick ( black contour - grey filling - black contour) - but that's just a loose idea.
Anyway, keep up the good work.

I can try the suggestion this evening. The paddle wheels are very lightly built so it may make them appear too thick.

you recognise the sb masters as the ones who, in cases like this, can choose rightly between 3 pixel 'nice looking' and 1 pixel 'realistic' thicknesses. try it out, and see which looks best

... There no alternative than try and compare the two solutions.
i would suggest also to try a solution with only the inner one thicker leaving the outer one as it is.

I would work more also on the hull.
First of all within SB we highligth the waterl level with a black line even if it is not real.
I saw that you used a darker color for the underwater part. I would keep the same color using the darker one to enhance the roundness of the hull with a suitable shading.
