Since my first project was doomed to failure due to it's difficulty and my skill levels I decided to try again with something bigger. This ship is meant to be affordable yet modern multipurpose vessel mainly for patrolling, escorting and for occasional slapping on DPRK's navy. Primorsky is a small nation of 3,6 million in East Asian coast. It is fairly wealthy nation with large and modern military and it has very good relations with People's Republic of China. |

It is a good start, but 6 12,7 mm machine guns is to much. If you want the ship to be stealthy, then you need t angle you'r surfaces so they can reflect the radar signal to an total different direction than the radar signal came from. |

It's AU. I feel comfortable to fool around with designs of my own rather than real ships. I upgraded this ship a little bit. Changes include angled superstructure and M2HB's were swapped for DSHK's and moved to more suitable locations I think. 50 cal in front of hangar is meant to be there most of time and machine guns on superstructure are stowed in armory and fitted on their mounts only when needed. |

Well I'll be, that's a superb effort so far. |

I have been working on ships stern for a while. I've got to these two concepts after drawing it again and again. It's bit frustrating when something looks still bloody ugly after about 30 or so attempts. Wich one is better or should I scrap them both and try again? |

I like the first one - and don't be so hard on yourself, honestly they both look fine. |

Because this frigate is designed for DPRK,they would definetely have space for 2 SILC infiltatration crafts.Of course there could also transfer RHIBS,but the place should be designed for the SILC. Information about SILC here http://covertshores.blogspot.gr/2010/06 ... craft.html |

Pretty much done by now. Some minor tweaking, adding more radars and suff and maybe recoloring left to do. Fixed armament includes following: 1x 100 mm chinese dual purpose gun 1x Uragan launcher 2x RBU 6000 ASW rocket launchers 4x RBU 1200 4x Quadruple launchers for C-802 2x Twin torpedo tubes 1x Chinese 30mm CIWS 6x DSHK for point defence and as last resort AA 4x Strela MANPADs Various small arms are also carried aboard to arm every man aboard if necessary. She carries two Harbin Z9's and two locally produced RHIB copies. |
