Well, this is the first ship I am actually willing to upload here. I will admit that not an awful lot of it is mine, but I have done a fair load of work to put this ship together. First off, she was designed for an AU of the United Kingdom in a forum game I maintain and run. Not really sure what I should say about it though. She is obviously liable to be changed, I am mainly posting here so that I can get some decent critique. |

Fixed now. I hope. Whoops... just noticed I haven't put myself in the creds. But I'm not sure if I have done enough to warrant it? |

1. to much weapons. Chose either, British, Americana or etc. etc. weapon and stay with it. 2. Radars, Chose one stay with it! 3. Where do you want you'r engine, In the Hangar. It's the only place big enough for that. All those VLS will interfere with the engines space. look in this topic to see how much place different equipment take. (And remember that crew need space to) viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2755 http://www.naval.com.br/blog/wp-content ... -class.jpg |

What's a "kinetic countermeasure" and what makes it different from ESSM? |

Ok, going from bow towards aft - and these are just things I could notice at a first glance. -radar mast and space around it looks bit cramped with just too much radars going on each others way; -that SPY radar doesn't seem to make too much sense since - usually there are 4 such antennas to give 360 deg. coverage - You'll have only two. -VLS launchers - those in the centre of the ship will take away engine space (btw. - what kind of propulsion does it have?) - those on both sides on the bridge... well, either this ship is VERY wide or it has VERY narrow bridge. -probably (perhaps it could be ok) 3 AN/SPG radars are too much - two would be ok (either only those two above hangar or one forward one aft) (some larger US warships had four of these, but I believe these were double-ended air defence cruisers, if I recollect correctly). -these aft 127mm guns (on both sides of helicopter pad) - one thing is that they are outdated, secondly again it's either a very wide ship or a very narrow helicopter pad, and if You think that You could place these guns just next to the edge of the deck... well - You can't. There are lots of belowdeck parts to be placed underneath - both in depth and in width; -and that RHIB next to a gun muzzle... it looks just weird. |

The KCM is what it says it is, a manoeuvrable munition without a warhead designed to be pew-pewed at things rather than wasting a full sized SAM.
But ESSM (and RAM) already serve the same function.
