This should be the last drawing I do inside the beginners forum (Hopefully) Its going to hold a few Fire-Scouts in the back and maybe some manned helicopters. I just wanted to know how large I should make the radar mast to hold what it needs to. In order to have necessary protection and missile guidance... I am planning on putting Aegis radar's below the bridge. Thank You... (Edit: Changed to cruiser... To small as corvette,says... well, alot of people) |

Corvette ... too big for that class, more like frigate or DD. |

It's over 168 metre long, and with that lenght it's not a corvette, rather a cruiser and certainly no less than a destroyer (Burkes are 154-155m long, Ticonderogas are 173m long - both these ship classes You should also use for comparison regarding Your mast question). Besides that You have wrong color of portholes/windows and I don't understand why do You have so tall stern? Helicopter hangar with elevators? But generally it's quite interesting in itself. |

Designations, especially the antique ones used in the west, are utterly meaningless. He could call it a flaming pig screamer of doom and gloom and it would be just as accurate as calling it a cruiser or destroyer. |

True to some point, but not to the point of 170m long corvette - at least I haven't seen one in real-life yet. |

Why not? It makes as much sense as 10k ton destroyers. (Destroyers started out in the 300 ton range)Or destroyers without torpedoes for that matter since that was one of their defining features. |

Is this ship to large to fit a MK-110? |

to be honest the term destroyer itself is outdated as no modern "destroyers" are used for the original role of being a torpedo boat destroyer, hence the name. Its really used for political purposes if I'm not mistaken and people simply didn't change the name as the ship's size and roles changed. |

I gave my friend the controls of my MS Paint... He made the weird looking mast. He said since it is a 2020 year AU, It should look realistic... Really how does it look, I might use it or make one for myself? |

Well I don't really sea a 2020 look in that ship but maybe other members will disagree with me. The mast is a bit thick and heavy looking for my taste and very interesting arrangement on the rear of the ship though it looks probable to me, maybe top heavy. It's pretty realistic in my opinion, though it could use some work forsure |
