This is my second attempt to draw a ship. Different from before that I draw fictional Krakatau Class, today I draw something real. KMP Gilimanuk is the name. This is a medium ferry that serve to sail people from East Java to Bali, and vice versa. KMP Gilimanuk owned by ASDP Indonesia Ferry, a government-own limited company that be active in ocean transport service. The real thing: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xuWeJTvpBpI/T ... erry-1.JPG I know, the picture is big. That's why I place that in link. Shipbucket version: Critics and comment are welcome P.S.: If my English is bad, tell me. Because I'm not so good in English |

Nice try but the scale seems to be wrong, judging by the picture you have provided. Double check the size of the real vessel and your scaling technique (ask for help if you're having troubles with any of these). UPDATE Ok, I'm going to make it easy for you. According to this website the vessel length is 44.3m, which is consistent with what I measured using height of the people on your picture for reference. In ShipBucket scale the total length of this ship should be 290 pixels. Use the same drawing technique with the correct dimensions and you should be able to produce a decent drawing. I hope this helps. |

It's a very nice drawing, but indeed not in scale. WhyMe had more luck in finding the real lenght of the ship, I just roughly measured it to be below 50 meters. Anyway, it should be about this size: (Of course You can't just replace Your drawing with this resize because it's not meeting SB standards now). But You're indeed improving very well. |

Missing a little bit of stuff on the top deck but other than that details look fine to me other than what the rest of these guys have said. |

Now, my problem is in scalling Before I draw, I tought it scale are as large as the picture that I given. So, that mean I must re-draw? |

Unless you've found a new way around it, I'm afraid so |

You have to redraw that ship, but it is good practice for you. You have made a good start and your source (the picture you sent) is quite good, and by rescaling the picture itself you can re-draw your ship. |
