Thestrategist - First of all, welcome to Shipbucket.
Unfortunately, the hull of Your ship is not WW1-style, and certainly not a destroyer-style. Perhaps a towed artillery barge, but not a destroyer.
The weapons You used do not suit well the DD-sized warship, because they are intended for much larger ships: two of them for a battleship and one at least for a heavy cruiser.
As for the fonts, I use 10 (for the title) and 8 (for my nickname). I guess that it would be good if site admins change (update or perhaps make more precise) it in the tutorials.
Generally, I would suggest that You:
1) decide from which era Your ship is supposed to be (WW1, between the wars, WW2, early Cold War, late Cold War, modern),
2) find some drawings of other ships from that era,
3) note their general features: size, hull shape, superstructures, masts, armament, radars and sonars etc., funnels, screws, lifeboats etc.
4) try to do something roughly similar,
4a) remember, that if You use large parts from someone else's drawing (like whole hull, or large parts of superstructure for example), You would have to credit that someone as co-author. That does not apply to parts taken from Parts Sheets (like guns, armament, equipment etc.).
Also, generally I would say, that it would be even more practical if for the beginning You would rather try to draw some historical ship instead (maybe even several of them - and not too large - better don't start with battleships or carriers - I'd say that corvette-sized ship would be ok), not an own design - but that is Your choice, of course.
