Lets try this again shall we. I have added the name of the ship. If you think that is long it is not even one tenth of his title. P.S. I lost my Imageshack password. |

ok, one last try. if you won't listen to this, honestly meant to learn why this ship won't work, I can't do anything else then ignore you.... as most will do. |

And this is different form the Mk I version... how? Same mistakes are still there, same problems are not remedied, and I'm probably the only one willing to even point that much out. APDAF, I lack the ability to draw well in SB standards, but I take the advice offered and am getting better. You, sir, ignore the advice and continually infuriate those who offer it... and consistently post designs which you know are wildly off-base or out of SB style requirements. Why? |

I should really move the aft stacks forward. Ok on the list. And the crew live in the spaces fore and aft. |

Second verse, same as the first. I expect to see rapid and concrete progress, as my locking finger is already itchy. |

you can't put crew in your anchor tier. you can't put crew in the most moving areas of an ship. you don't want to have your machine crew far away from your machines. you don't want your officers far from the bridge and their other positions. a ship this size needs 2-3000 people. you are not going to fit those in the bow and stern. an fact is, this ship can be about half this length. see the pink area's? most of those can be cut out. of course, you'll have to rearange your propulsion and aviation facilities then..... but that is not the largest problem. |

Okay, it does not appear that you have changed anything other than the name plate since the last version. You are showing some progress though, the addition of 4.7" guns and the removal of the center turrets shows this, I will give you that. But this is not much. In the off topic forum, Bombhead has shared some cutaway veiws of the Royal Navy from '39-'40, while it is not your era, it still shows the basic layout of warships: http://shipbucket.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2247 Here is what has been said that needs doing: ~Too long, the hull is just too darn big to work, she will have a huge turning radius, not to mention poor manuvering at that length. ~Guns, firstly they are KM turrets from WWII, never built ones at that. Double tier casemates never work out too well and should be removed. ~Funnels, firstly they are too short, secondly they can't be split up like that. Having the engine rooms split up by 70 meters is not a good idea, plus you have to make room for prop shafts going all the way aft, that is almost 2/3 the lenght of your ship, they will get in the way. ~Boats, the crane cannot reach them, and they are pooly placed, in bad weather, they fall right off. ~Windows, most notably the ones around the anchors, there is no room for the anchor chain to be stored there, and the square windows on the stern are too modern for a ship of this period. And some new advice: ~Aircraft, you have enough deck space to build a hangar amidships, this will also help add some detail to tat rather blank area, I would suggest moving the forward stacks aft, near the 3 aft ones, adding a hangar where they used to be, and moving the catapult forward a bit. ~Name, mainly, it is too long. Split it in 3 and you have the names for 3 new classes of ships. |

I am getting rid of the bottom tier of casemates. The square windows are a placeholder. Where do you think I should put the crane for the boats? How and why should I split the name in three? |

~Windows, why not add a gallery instead of windoes, it will take 5 minutes and is one less thing that needs to be done. ~Crane, it's not a matter of where the crane goes, the main problem is that those boats are poorly positioned, and appear to be out of scale or too few/small for a ship of this size. As for placement, preferably up on the deck, where the crane(s) can reach them or hanging from davits where they won't get wet or fall off in a storm (or any weather really), as for scale, I suggest you use one of the ones below. ~Names, use "Emporer George I" for 1 class, "The Holy Empire of Britainia" for another and "Keiser of Germany" for the third. |
