is it single hulled?, also the typhoon mounts are a bit confusing (so are the black lines) but nice shape, if a little stubby |

120 feet or 40 metres.. not the RV Kilo Moana (T-AGOR-26) is the following Length: 186’ Beam: 88’ I believe you would want a stable platform to launch and land UAV I am not good at it ut I will try to come up with a top view drawing |

If you are looking for beam and want to keep the same(ish) fugly look, check out a ramform hull. |

Having net recovery like that is only used for super-STOL operations (say, a helipad) or drones that don't have landing gear and partially defeats the purpose of having a dedicated drone carrier. Go ahead, use the landing space you have. |

I would also question the usefulness of this vessel. What exactly does it do that can't be done by either smaller, cheaper frigates or larger, dedicated carriers? It has no ability for AAW or AShW, and I doubt those drones could engage in ASW. So unless you embark some helicopters, you are defenseless and impotent from all aspects. Visual recon is a lot less important at sea in modern combat, with ranges measured in hundreds or thousands of kilometers. So I ask again, what does it do? |
