Basically what if Japan was allowed to keep their ships after World War II, Hosho adapted to Anti-submarine warfare.

While it's an interesting design, there is no way the IJN would've utilized Hosho in a post-war role into the 1970s. She was already 23 years old at the end of the war and hadn't been used in an active role since her return from the Midway Operation. Ryuho could be the ASW carrier and Kasagi and Ikoma could be finished to give the IJN a full CarDiv 1 with a repaired Katsuragi, with a newly-completed Ibuki and a repaired Junyo serving as CarDiv 2. Hosho could serve for a brief time while the other ships are repaired and then be decommissioned and scrapped.
