Neither the Kaiserliche Marine, Reichsmarine, or Kriegsmarine used pennant numbers for their capital ships, so I'm not entirely sure where you're getting the CVE designation, as that was a primarily US practice. Additionally, only the Kaiserliche Marine used a prefix (SMS), and using "KM" as a prefix is a bit of a "History Channel" trope.

Thanks for your input. The CVE I mentioned primarily for the users here of SB, because I presume everyone knows that this stands for "CV escort". The DKM did not use the pennant numbers, correct, but in my AU certain classes will use them, if the ships in class are numerous for facilitating the distinction between ships. If the DKM had in those times a total of, say, 24 "Zerstörer" of more or less the same characteristics, I deem it useful for everybody to know which one is Z3 or Z15, for instance... Why not? As for KM I shall put in future always DKM, is that correct? Sails up!...

To the administrators:

I've made so far an effort in not only uploading drawings (which initially got some attention regarding imperfections or suggestions for a better plusibility with the timeline), and I've put an emphasys in underlining the technical details of some aspects regarding the evolutions made in the late 30s mainly in the radar technology but also on some other naval aspects. NO comments so far. So let me put here a question: What exactly is expected in this forum, mainly from beginners? What exactly is expected to deserve comments? Thanks. CG

Reading about the early trials of German radar reminded me of a comparison that was done between Allied Radar advances and German advances. The one thing I remember is that the early British Radar was able to be easily upgraded part by part while the German radar needed to have virtually a complete new unit built for each advance. A clear advantage to the Allies.

Is that something you intend to improve for the Germans? A lot of wasted development time.

There is no guarantee that you'll get comments when posting here -- it's all about whether or not other users are interested in what you post. ;)
