Love that ship! This new one in MUCH cooler than the old.
Just wondering, what guns are these, I've seen them on some RN AU and Never Built but I don't know what it is

A really nice first drawing trap one; and its good to see you taking the time to develop it with so much advice. I can see that you are keeping to the original drawing as much as possible, which is fine as the concept was never carried through into steel. The only disadvantage with this approach is that we are limited to the somewhat crude representations (and models) that were intended to show the concept but not as it would have finally looked if ever launched. An example of what I'm saying is the bridge, which on the drawings and models always looked undeveloped and (IMHO) would have been different in the actual ship. But this is no criticism, and I commend you for this drawing :)

Following on Portsmouth Bill advice, I would recommend using other works of the same period for details. Examples would be Bombhead excellent HMS Blake and Tiger or even Portsmouth Bill own Admiral class cruisers (in the Alternate Universe thread )

They are some out of scale representations of various guns. Don't use them.

Portsmouth Bill, thanks for the pointer. Will have a look at that and let you see the results.

Or use them in an AU/Personal Design setting only with the knowledge that these are essentially fictional guns.

That doesn't mean that they are properly drawn.

She is coming on trap one.I think you may have a bit much rake on the bow.It looks a bit high and the A turret guns can't fire straight ahead. Its a pain in the arse job,but good practice. :geek:

I don't see why A turret needs to be able to fire at zero elevation and bearing on paper.
