Probably, but what about if there's some sort of reason that the balloon can't be launched?

As for the AA guns, you should probably use a combination of missiles and CIWS. It really depends on what your preferences you have. Personally I would recommend the Goalkeeper CIWS.

As for the radar thing, I don't really know enough about gunfire direction radars to give you a good suggestion.

yeah, i know. i just started so help me. btw, would the radars and rangefinders from this ship work? and if you had a Rangefinder strapped to a small RC blimb tied to a cable, could u see over the horizon?
  1. Please use off-site hosting as you go forward rather than the attachment feature - we have limited space for attachments, and we like to use it for real and never built designs.
  2. Sort of. That drawing falls into the old/miss-guided Camp. There are various parts that are old, and others that just don't work (like the SPY-1F Panels).
  3. Yes. Aerostats are one way of increasing your radar horizon. UAVs are another, and much more popular way to do this because they offer even longer range for targeting.
  4. Going forward, I'd appreciate it if you would please use proper spelling and capitalization. We have a significant number of members for whom English is not their primary language (various primary languages include. French, Finish, Polish, and Dutch). Proper English is the least that those of us for whom English is there primary language can do to make communication easier.
