Looks very plausible, though a small bridge of sorts is missing as it's fairly uncommon to use the conning tower for command whilst out of battle.

The boats closest to the wing turrets might be a bit exposed to the muzzle blast but again depends on the traverse of the guns and the beam

I have added a small bridge based on a French predread of the same year.

I have also added some windows.

That's a good fit!

Okay, so the ship is good.

Now, how realistic is it for the first ships of this class to be laid down in 1893, and the last ship to decommissioned around 1919?

I would also possibly keep one in use well into the 20's and possibly 30's as a training ship if that is plausible as well.

Well that's quite reasonable, especially for ships of that timeframe

I had thought that maintenance costs may get prohibitive on the training ship, so most likely she would be scrapped or made a museum ship in the 30's or so.

And I can't see them being retained as combat vessels much past 1919 seeing as they lack any of the advantages ships develop over WWI.

It seems all I have to do now is bring my proper WWI ships up to this quality.

She looks good,

I would date her a bit later than 1893 (due to secondary turrets rather than casements) say 1900 ish.
I would agree with 1919 (or at least after your equivalent of WW1)
As to a TS depends on how many ships your navy has (ie do you have a spare early dreadnought ?)

My only addition would be a few lighter guns 3' ish ( I would put them as casements to low down to be useful and on top deck of superstructure)
