If you remove the light shading above and under water line. Then you have it as it should be done. There are no need for shading in the bow.

It is much much better. The only issue I currently spot, is the stern section, where the different decks sizes meet in the stern. The Turret ship had a sort of a midsection where the upper deck was truncked but it didn't go all the way to stern, much like the way in the bows, that you illustrated in a good way.
Apart from the above I feel that some more details will be a boost to your drawing.

All right. The stern issue has been taken care of, IMHO.
Now I'll turn your attention to the port holes on the forecastle and stern. They look to be too close vertically, this will mean there isn't enough head room. I think they top row to bee about 11 to 12 pixels above the bottom row. That translate to 6 feet which is not enough, deck height should be at least 7 feet or 14 pixels at the Shipbucket scale. I will also suggest you remove one row, as it is not necessary.
Also on the bridge deck house your port holes look like the are about two feet above the corresponding deck - that means they are about thigh high in real life, and that is too low.

The bottoms of the portholes on the deckhouse are 4 feet above the deck, I don't see the issue?

O.K with them, than. It was just my opinion.

I removed the lower row of portholes on the hull, and I changed some of the windows in the bridge and added a walkway thing.

Very nice though surely you wouldn't need double doors on the command post version when removing one door adds another workstation?
