Money is not a problem for the Empire of Britannia.

Airships have a longer range and a bigger payload.

Money might not be a problem, but can you control the sea state? Are you going to mount a 'King Canute (tm)' on the bows of every one of these? Please explain how you solve the other issues of dual tier mounts?

Okay, longer range but how did you solve the other problems faced by airships? flammability, poor performance in bad weather, particularly poor speed and most importantly, vulnerability to AAA and enemy fighters?

They use helium in the airships and added guns.

About the problem about sea state captains are trained to only use the main guns in bad weather.

Its not a matter of training. Its that they are unusable in sea states above like, 3, which is really low waves. Therefore they are basically pointless in anything but the calmest of seas.

Added guns? Do you even know what AAA is? and zeps already mounted guns, they just were not particularly useful against high speed fighters.
As for helium... you'd only be getting that from the US. You okay with that? considering the US would see you as a threat...

When I mean guns I talking about a 3'' QF or 12 pounders.

You can make helium with WW1 tech but I am not going in to detail about.

Yeah, you can produce helium, but the main producer of helium in WW1 (And after) was the United States...

Okay, those are pretty damn big to be mounting on a zep... Do you want a useable bomb load? Or do you want AA guns?

Also, answer this: Its not a matter of training. Its that they are unusable in sea states above like, 3, which is really low waves. Therefore they are basically pointless in anything but the calmest of seas.

Some of the largest airships used where nearly half-a-mile long.

What do you mean that that cannot fire in sea states above 3?

Go look up the Beaufort scale, and begin to understand the ocean.

The fact that some were that long doesn't mean much when you realise how little mass they can lift.
Okay, so the 12lb gun weighs 500kg's, and the graf zeppelin has a useful lift of 10,000kg's.
Lets say you mount four (a mildly useless number), thats 2000 kg's.
Each shell is 6 kg's. Lets say each gun has 50, thats 1200 kg's.

That gives you only 6,800kg's of payload for bombs. Thats just Seven 2000lb bombs. A thoroughly useless number.

So you see you get a pointless zeppelin...

It does, if one it that long you can fit a lot of helium "bags" into it.
