Why the Chinook, Cyclone and Merlins? I'm pretty sure you could cater for the navy part at least with just the Merlin in that setup. However I'd bring into the mix instead something like a Lynx or Panther for the vessels not large enough to accommodate the Merlin.

My logic was that the Cyclone was already in the Canadian fleet and would be used for smaller vessels in a offensive - defensive ASW/AS role were as the Merlin could replace the Sea King as the Multipurpose heavy lifter along with the Chinook and Osprey on the Amphibious ships.

Why not go for something like the Merlin 110 and 410 then. Dedicated ASW/ASuW platform as well as a transport platform with commonality between types. I presume the Ospreys and Chinooks are operated by your marines for the amphibious operations?
I think between the Merlins and Ospreys you don't really need the Chinook at least not in the Navy. Nothing to stop you having air force or marines deploying on them though.
