The gun in these photos looks like an OTO Melara 76mm, and then your design needs only refinement in bow (grey line a bit lower, letters above it) and she is ready. Also helicopters on photos seems to be Westland Lynx.

Yes, because models represent usually one of many proposed versions, but I am afraid I cannot read Thai.

The "12-18" refers to helicopters, so perhaps 18 Lynx or 12 Sea King, which seem true comparing capacity from Italian ships (AB-212 vs AS-61).

oops, my bad, i will translate a bit.

this article is about "Thai helicopter carrier maybe able to operate V/STOL aircraft"

- 7800 tons helicopter carrier from Bremer Vulkan
- Bremer was designing ski-jump with British specialist help
- weapon system are Sea Sparrow, 127mm gun from OTO Melara or FMC, Breda twin 30mm gun, and sonar.
- this ship were going to commission in 1997
- Thai navy have requirement of 12-18 naval fixed-wing attack aircraft for support 16000 marines
- we (article author) believe that the navy also planned to use the carrier to operate attack aircraft
- this carrier can carry 12 sea king size helicopter

Very nice, ship needs only a little refinement and is ready- as posted earlier. About Harrier capacity, this design perhaps could hold 8-10 Harrier and 1-2 Sea King maximum. 16,000 marines? This number is really large.

I have always liked this design and it has now been improved. Well done Sir.
