3 inches is 76mm. I would say that is somewhat lacking in firepower. Wouldn`t dual purpose 127mm/5 inch guns be better?
closest thing to those would be standardized 130mm dual-purpose guns used on many other designs of mine, so I suppose the 3in AA could be replaced with those

That would give good AA protections as well as good arnaments to bear on destoryers and crusiers. I believe that would be the optimal choice.

If it is late 40's to early 50's, I'd put some more radar on there perhaps.

what kind, specifically?
it already has an air and a surface search

It just seems rather sparce. Maybe take a look at the late war Baltimore, Oregon City and Salem drawings. *shrug*

eh, I don't know what most of the radars do and are for so I'm kind of weary of putting wrong/useless radars on

here it is with 130mm secondaries this time and a few more 20mm peashooters

It could do with some updated propellers... those just look a bit crude (IIRC they are from 2008).

I would also consider raising the superstructure up another deck. Right now it looks a bit too low to really "fit" with other period designs.

As for radar fits, it really depends on the year you're wanting to portray. If it's early (1940-42), put an early air search radar (CXAM, etc) on the foremast with a surface search (SG) on a small platform above the bridge. Late-war (1944-1945), place a more modern air search (SK, SK-2) on the foremast with an SG above it. Then put a backup SG radar on the mainmast.

This might help:

I'll think about the superstructure and thanks for the radar tips.

It looks to me like you've lifted the underwater hull from the old Cleveland drawing and recolored it. If that's the case, just take the newest version of the Cleveland hull and you'll get the propellers along with a much better rendition of a cruiser hull.

honestly, I kind of eyeballed the hull from the Brooklyn class, but I'll swap the propellers next time
