colombamike, again you are wrong on many points:
goalkeeper on such a ship? no, just no. goalkeepers are way too expensive for such an small ship, and the millenium gun can do most of the CIWS.
it is that beamy because it is an trimaran, IMO it is just fine.

and to sebu: it looks really good now, might be an possible real world vessel as well ;)

Ignoring the cost issue for the moment, I don't see why you'd want a goalkeeper in its place.
As a CIWS I'd bet on the Millenium gun, and those extra five milimetres aren't going to make much difference in a surface engagement.

Nice work with your trimaran design. But i may suggest that :

1. Since trimaran (in navy point of view) was a very slender main hull being stabilized by two narrow and small hull, i find those hull need refinement.
2. I guess the center crane is to big. May be move it a little aft might be able to decrease its size. But i could be wrong.
