What is model of "typical post Cold War destroyer"? My drawing abowe? It was to be a "typical early Cold War destroyer", but not "post Cold War" - these are rather US Arleigh Burke class or British Type 45 Daring class.
Your new drawing is a step in good direction! It's getting much better than before.
But there is still a significant amount of work to do.
1) it's too short - now it's a corvette or at most a small frigate,
2) You're using the wrong template - if You took it from:
http://www.shipbucket.com/images.php?dir=Parts%20Sheets
then unfortunately they are outdated (among others, they should have small "
www.shipbucket.com" in lower right corner, just Admins do nothing about that.
Here are the proper ones:

3) Your hull is not high enough, especially in the aft (rear), above the rudder. Remember that in this scale 1 pixel = 15,24cm or 0,5 feet, so a man in this scale (180cm or 6ft tall) is 12 pixels high, therefore decks must be higher: no less that 12 pixels and more close to 14-15 plus a thickness of the deck's floor/ceiling. The doors could be therefore too small as well.
Remember: lots of mechanisms must fit inside the hull, also crew quarters, elements of armament (guns are not just the turrets You see above the deck, there is also a large magazine of ammunition below) and so on.
4) I also believe that The deck in the bow shouldn't be level but rather go up towards the front. While some ships don't have it, their hulls are higher. Otherwise You'll have a lots of water there, especially in bad weather.
If You want to make it a post-Cold War ship, look at these drawings:

First try to draw a hull that would be of similar lenght to these (slightly shorter or longer - it's Your choice), of similar height (above the waterline) and draught (below the waterline) and generally of similar shape.
Then look where the superstructure starts and where it ends and how high it is, and try to draw Yours.
Next place the masts and funnels.
Later armament and sensors (radars, antennas etc).
Then add details like lifeboats, moorings and so on.
And in the end add railings and shading.
Generally, You're learning, and that's very good!
P.S. I'm using Photobucket too, so that's not a problem.
