I think you should draw the 8" air vents with glass in them for three reasons. First off, the the similar labelled 18" Air Vents clearly have glass in them. Secondly, if they didn't have glass in them it should be fairly easy to see if they were closed, yet not one of the 100+ pictures on Navsource.org shows that.
And third, this picture shows what I believe is glass in the 8" Air Vents.

alright. first time around, I put glass in them, and am jumped for that, so I follow suggestions and make them gray inside the outline and get jumped for that.

I am going to state right now that I am not going to change the air vents yet again. They are going to stay as is. If that torpedoes my chance of getting them added to the archive, then so be it, but I am not going to compromise principals because somebody wants me to change something which was already changed and then changed and then changed.

This pic, I believe, offers quite convincing proof they are not glassed portholes.

The air vents stay as they are. End of discussion.

They are not air vents, and are not labelled on the plans as air vents! The only vents on the plan are the big tubes rising out of the deck. Portholes are 'windows' in a boat or ship. Some of these you can open, some you can not. The ones that you can are called airports, as shown in the builders plans.

Somebody please, prove me wrong! I'm starting to doubt myself!!!

I am the man who never interferes, unless I get tired of reading a very silly discussion.

That you are viewing in that picture are portholes with glass, I see even the reflection of the environment around the boat.

the left shows the reflection of the sea, plus that it's dark in there.
the second shows the reflection from the sea but also the reflection of the boat next to it.
the third and fourth shows the reflection of the boat next to it.

For this picture was taken from an another boat!

Note: if you study the drawings. so you can see that the windows of the superstructure / wheelhouse is marked as airport, the same as they are marked on all the air vents / portholes.

So what I will say is that you have been fooled by old American English (dialect text)!

Wasn't sure just how to go about adding small scuppers, so I just used single pixel black dots to represent them. Honestly, I still think they detract more than add to the overall look, but I am open for suggestions on a better method.

Bilge keel added, but not sure about it. It doesn't look exactly wrong, but it doesn't seem exactly right either. :?

Also, added a few more chocks which I missed first go 'round.

And while I was at it, I added a couple of midships 30" vents which were partially hidden behind the whale boat and that I missed.
