you will not get better at anything without trying (and making a load of mistakes, well at least in my case )

(Its up to you but making them publicly my be a bit embarrassing but you will get better feedback and help than doing it alone )

PS your ship isn't BAD like some others its just not finished and polished with details it could be made very nice with a few iterations of work/feedback (and its perfectly ok to use somebody else hull as long as you credit them ).
