A bit of clarification To the colors is that moderators use the bold Green of their user title colors and when You see bold Administration Blue its myself speaking as a owner of the site and the domain name, and such cases should be extremely rare. When you see green text, you obey, and if you ever see blue, you pray and sacrifice your daughters to tame me

The colors on the flag are inverted. Alabama would have had the the flag below flying at the time of her sinking.

no problem. By the way I did do the Passaic and Canonicus-class monitors a while back, but I'm certain you would do a much better job than I.

I saw your USS Monitor! That's the drawing that got me thinking about some of the others! The others you did are no longer pictured on the thread (nor in the Real Ships section).

I've been a "monitor freak" for ages. Built a couple R/C versions back in the late 1980's. A 1/4"=1' Passaic (Comanche) and a 1/8"=1' Kalamazoo. Both had revolving turrets, smoke generators, and...the Kalamazoo had 4 black powder single shot canons. The Comanche was built around low velocity pellet guns for an R/C combat club doing Civil War.
