I have started to collect information on MS Oslofjord. There are two different Oslofjord:

- it is SS Oslofjord delivered in 1938 from the Deutche Schiff und Machinenbau A/G,Weser
bg.nr.932, for the Norwegian - America line.

- and it is MS Oslofjord delivered in 1949 from the Nederlandche dok en Scheepsbow bg.nr.410, for the Norwegian - America line.

SS Stella Polaris

The second OSLOFJORD is one of my all-time favourite liners and certainly one of the most beautiful ships ever built in the Netherlands. There is a framed black-and-white picture of her hull just before launching in one of the offices on my floor. It is amazing!
