Has anyone got any good photos or drawings of the experimental twin 'tween decks' 4in mount that was carried aboard HMS Resolution between 1931-38? I believe the mounting was designated the Mk XVII (the gun itself being the Mk XV). The experimental Mk XVIII was fitted aboard Repulse. As it was carried on the starboard side its a must for my next R Class drawing! |

Did anyone reply? Try the Vickers photo archive, Barrow. http://www.dockmuseum.org.uk/archive/de ... &subtitle= There are others, but I thought this the best. Go to 'HOME' and search for 'twin' |

Doh! Why didn't I think of that! Thanks Smurf. Those are indeed just what I was looking for. I had estimated its appearance, but now I'll go back and redraw it and add it to the parts sheet too. |
