While I'm redrawing the current (rather innacuratte) Halifax class FFG, I've noticed a troubling lack of concrete sources (likely a source of innaccuracies). Does anyone have an accurate side plan view? I know some Bucketeers have resources Google doesn't and my local library is tiny.

Sadly I've seen most of these and they lack a few details views I was hoping for, but thanks guys.

There's two profiles at the bottom of this page http://webberswarships.ca/styled-58/index.html showing before/after FELEX refit.

Bezobrazov has completed a series of fantastic Halifax - class drawings which, while they are not on the archive, can be found with a quick search under the real designs forum. I'm not sure why they're not listed on the archive, perhaps by oversight, but they certainly should be.

Hmmm..I thought, indeed, that I did a thorough job of redrawing the original version. Of course, now I cannot access my files to, say re-upload them, due to personal circumstances, but I did check and re-check and counter-check, so...
And I may not have been in a position when that uploading session was in effect to have them offered for upload, but I know I posted them in a thread.
But, by all means, Charwhick let me know what I've done wrong!

I can see that I DO need to update, i. e. FELEX my versions, which, of course, I can allow you to do, Charwhick, since my real-life situation doesn't really permit my time doing it!

I think the details on yours are suberb bezo, but the original might be off a bit (as was the case with for example with the tromps) and I do not know if you checked those with the builders plans of the halifax? if charwick has reason to believe that is off, he of course has reason enough to fix the early versions as well, IMHO.

I also found this site http://jproc.ca/rrp/halifax_external_features.html which seems to have excerpts from the builders plans,
and viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2277 is the version bezo drew.

I do agree with you, ace. And Charwhick may perfect it, by all means, especially since I simply cannot afford time to do it. However, while builder's plans are always very useful, real-life photos, on which I've based most of the pertinent details are far better.
And, again, I do notice that the Halifax-class IRL has been further upgraded, so, there are stuff to do. I, however, think such drawings should be complimentary to mine, not replacing them.

And, Charwhick, I invite you, if you care, to post them in my original thread, to keep the versions together, so to speak.
