Any merchant ship, even never built ones, are good for me, but if anyone wants to try his (or hers) hand in drawing a liner...

Technically, she was built, just never completed. ;) She was launched in late August 1940; there are views of her completed hull in the background of several pics showing the commissioning of battleship Bismarck; if I remember correctly she was built on the next slipway next to the famous battleship.

You are right of course that the ship was built, even launched, but as she was not completed, in my opinion a ship that was not completed is not built.
A case in point is the excellent thread by BB1987 about the Japanese Tosa class battleship.
