Post subject: | Help me identifying these airplanes please |
I found an image about the evolution of Argentine Air Force from 1867 to 1945 but unfortunately i couldn't get it in a proper size to make them easily identifiable, that's why i ask this forum for help. From left to right, going column by column and skipping the balloons: (The ones marked with a question mark mean that i'm not very sure)

i didn't checked all the planes but i can tell you yet the first one is a antoinette VII and the last trimotor is a Dewoitine D.338,the previous one is probably a D.332, just behind a Focke-Wulf Fw 58. |

Some of the biplanes look familiar but at this small scale its hard to be certain I've been able to identify most of the Argentine-built aircraft from a source I have. Fifth column 3. might be a Martinside F.4 Buzzard Sixth column 1. is most likely a Bristol F.2B Eighth column 1. definitely not an S.55, I'm pretty sure this is the Vickers Viking amphibian Ninth column 2. Dewoitine D.21, 3. FMA AE C.1 Triplaza 4. might be another Junkers? Looks very much like the F.13 but with a different tail - W.33 perhaps? Twelfth column 1. FMA AE. T1, 3 or 4 might be the FMA AE. C.1 Prototipo and/or AE. C.2 Thirteenth column 1. might be the Avro Prefect, 3. might be FMA AE. M. S.1,4. FMA Ae.MO1 and/or Ae.MO2 Fourteenth column 1. FMA AE. C.4, 2. is FMA AE. C.3-G, 3 & 4. those aren't Grumman Ducks but Curtiss Hawk dive-bombers Fifteenth column 3. looks like a North American NA-16 Sixteenth column 1. Lockheed Junior? 2. Lockheed 12? (certainly not an Airspeed type as it has twin fins), 4. Fw44 Seventeeth column 1. looks like a I.Ae. 20 El Boyero Eighteen and Nineteen 1. look identical at this scale, eighteen 1. is probably I.Ae. 21 and nineteen 1. the I.Ae.22 DL trainer |

Better ?
Thanks for the effort but it doesn't really help because the letters telling the name of each airplane are barely readable.
I'll bet you know witch one is an douglas...
I think that it's the one at the bottom right, and it's either a DC-2 or a DC-3...Thanks hood! i'll update the list. |

That's because he just blew it up to a large resolution and posted it, because he's an idiot. |

I think that last in third column is Etrich Taube (or one of it's copies). I also believe that 1st in 3rd column is rather Morane H, and to me it's the 3/3 that looks more like Nieuport IV. 2/4 (plane/column) is Morane L Parasol. 1/4 could perhaps be Morane N, but wouldn't bet on it. 5th column - Nieuport twenty-something, SPAD, ??, Avro 504 6th column - Bristol Fighter, next two look Italian to me - check Pomillio or something like that. Plane in top row between BrisFit and flying boat looks like Morane 29/30. Red hydroplane rather isn't D.VII, but could be Fokker. Last in 8th and first and second in 9th column may be Dewoitine 21 and some relative of it (but don't ask me which is which). Below them are two Junkers F-13, just with different tail arrangements (they had lots of them during their long and diverse service life - just check two first pages of Polish Wings). From that point many of these aircraft are domestic Argentine designs, often look-alikes of European or US designs or their licence-models. Biplane to the right of bottom Ju.F-13 is Avro 621/626. To the right of B-10 is Lockheed L-10 Electra and above it L-12 Electra Junior. Of the rest I'll try to think tomorrow maybe. |

Thanks Es! I've identified most of the planes, but however, it isn't the pomilio, i've looked and the manufacturer pomilio didn't manufacture any airplane for Argentina.
