Oh great I need this like a hole in the head, still I've got good protection; in our hobby it is essential, those Russian sites can also be flaky. |

I doesn't get that warning. But that perhaps because I am using a real good protection software on my Computer ..... It's called AVG free! |

Damn did I fail that hard at being sarcastic to my self.... "Confucius". I am one of the lucky one Thiel that have a server at my house that supervise all incoming and outgoing Internet, with all the necessary software. It's expensive so I have to cut down the cost on my laptop with using low-cost software. I don't know how god the 2013 version of AVG free edition is, but the 2011 edition did it better on test than those expensive antivirus software. AVG had the ability to detect things those expensive didn't detect and vise verso. But the most important thing to have is a good Firewall. I have one standard Firewall on laptop and a programmable one on the server. made the Server that time tried to become and IT-specialist, had a lot of fun, build laptops. and found out this wasn't for me... so i started to build traditional wooden boats in stead!!!!! All I remember from that time is how to build a laptop or computer and install software the difficult way! |
