Clearly a Phased Array Radar, but not the Dutch one. Probably some domestical spin-off of the AEGIS Radar |

APAR is now a generic term for any advanced Phased array radar. its not just the dutch one, the Chineses Type 052C could also be called a APAR, but it is more likly its just a PAR |

APAR stands for Active Phased Array Radar. It should not be called, Advanced instead of Active. |

Could be APAR derivative, though. IIRC they used part of the electronics of APAR for the Active Phased Arrays on the Hyuga DDH.
