My son is a HUGE train enthusiast...Thanks mostly to Thomas and Friends...So I figured I'd draw some Steam Engines in FD Scale. The purpose is 2 fold-I'd contribute something useful to this board's database, and also provide some awesome (hopefully) artwork to plaster all over John's walls. What I am specifically looking for to start with is just a few: The Mallard and the Union Pacific Challenger. I know where I can find diagrams of a few of the smaller tank engines, but I figured I might need some help with the bigger ones.any help would be greatly appreciated. My first Engine will be an E-2 class 0-6-0T tank Engine in both British Southern Railway colors and an odd, unidentified blue engine with red trim and a gold number 1 painted on it's coal bunker.... |

The Blueprints has a fairly large selection of trains. |

Thanks, guys! I downloaded a few references already...I almost couldn't stop myself, the first one I downloaded was the Union Pacific Challenger and I got to work right away. My goodness that's a big engine.. |

Ha! Just read this, after thinking I might try some trains in FD the other day! I'll PM you before I start drawing anything to make sure you aren't already... |

The list is probably going to be short, Jabba. I'm thinking Challenger, Mallard, E-2 0-6-0T, and maybe if Challenger goes well I might try Big Boy. |

I started the Hogwarts Express a while ago - I probably should finish it - but I'd love to see the Mallard |

Are there specific FD templates? I browsed through the FD scale section and didn't see them...maybe I was looking in the wrong place? |

My train drawings are temporarily on hold...my computer has a virus, and I can't draw on my wife's laptop. Once my computer gets fixed, I should be back up to speed. |
