Aesthetically I agree, but if I ever draw Montana in SB scale I'd draw it as designed and then expand on later refits as I see fit.

Umm, Colosseum, I hate to break it to you, but the version of Montana that's already in the Never-built section has the Iowa superstructure (not to mention the wrong radar on the Mk 37 directors).

Basically the Montanas was designed as enlarged Iowas so the basic hull and superstructure are identical (the main bridge had not so many windows at the beginning but after, as Iowas, I think that at the end of WWII they could have been refitted exactly as the Iowa class...

If I want to make a drawing of Montana I'm going to do it regardless of whether or not one already exists. :P
